Kate Spade New York seeks a Temporary Style Associate at Desert Hills Premium Outlets in Cabazon, California. Part-time retail role $15.00–$24.25/hr.
Role & Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and confidently while demonstrating strong product knowledge across all Kate Spade categories
- Actively listen and ask insightful follow-up questions to understand customer needs and lifestyle preferences
- Provide personalized styling advice, suggest complementary add-ons, and create complete coordinated looks
- Use creativity to showcase multiple ways to wear products and encourage customers to explore new styles
- Guide customers through purchase decisions and ensure a seamless, inviting checkout experience
- Maintain operational excellence, including stockroom organization, inventory management, and accurate POS transactions
- Reinforce and celebrate customer choices, inviting loyalty and repeat visits
- Drive sales results through strong customer connections and authentic brand storytelling
- Demonstrate flexibility to work nights, weekends, busy seasons, and high-traffic retail days including public holidays
- Provide and receive honest, constructive feedback to support continuous improvement
Qualifications
- Professional selling skills with exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities
- Prior experience in a retail environment
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work collaboratively in a team setting
- Social media awareness and willingness to learn omni-channel and virtual selling techniques
- English language proficiency
- Physical capability to lift at least 25 lbs regularly (up to 50 lbs occasionally), climb, bend, kneel, and maneuver sales floor and stockroom areas
Skills
Experience
Prior experience in a retail environment, ideally in fashion, accessories, or luxury goods.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred; prior retail training or product knowledge certification a plus.

The successful candidate will be located in Cabazon, California, USA, with easy access to Los Angeles.
Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 24.25 per hour.
