Kate Spade seeks a Part-time Retail Stylist in Washington, PA (Tanger Outlets Pittsburgh) — temporary role focused on styling, sales and customer service.
Role & Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and establish rapport while demonstrating strong product knowledge across categories.
- Provide personalised styling advice and create complete looks that integrate Kate Spade products into customers’ wardrobes.
- Drive sales through storytelling, suggest complementary items and close transactions to meet store targets.
- Deliver exceptional customer service across in-store and omni-channel interactions, including virtual selling techniques.
- Maintain operational standards: organise the sales floor and stockroom, process POS transactions, and assist with inventory tasks.
- Encourage return visits by reinforcing customer choices and creating a memorable shopping experience.
Qualifications
- Professional selling skills and strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Prior experience working in a retail environment; background in fashion styling or visual merchandising is advantageous.
- Ability to multitask, prioritise and collaborate effectively within a team.
- Capacity to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, peak seasons and public holidays.
- Ability to lift regularly up to 25 lbs (and occasionally up to 50 lbs); ability to climb, bend and manoeuvre within the salesfloor and stockroom.
Skills
Experience
Prior retail experience is required; demonstrated professional selling skills and comfort with styling clients are preferred. Experience with omni-channel or virtual selling and familiarity with POS systems is advantageous.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred; coursework or training in fashion, merchandising or retail is a plus.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 19.25 per hour.
