Kate Spade New York seeks a Style Advisor in Syracuse, NY. Part-time role offering retail styling and sales excellence.
Role & Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and confidently, demonstrating strong product knowledge across all Kate Spade categories
- Actively listen and ask insightful follow-up questions to understand customer needs and preferences
- Provide personalized styling advice, suggest complementary products, and create cohesive looks
- Showcase multiple ways to wear products using creativity to encourage customers to explore new styles
- Guide customers through purchase decisions and ensure a seamless, welcoming checkout experience
- Drive sales results through authentic customer connections and compelling brand storytelling
- Maintain operational excellence including stockroom organization, inventory management, and POS transactions
- Develop omni-channel and virtual selling capabilities with awareness of social media opportunities
- Give and receive feedback in an honest, constructive manner to support continuous improvement
Qualifications
- Professional selling skills with exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities
- Prior experience in a retail environment, preferably in fashion or accessories
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced retail setting
- Collaborative team orientation and positive work ethic
- English proficiency or local language proficiency per market
- Ability to lift at least 25 lbs. regularly (up to 50 lbs. occasionally) and maneuver sales floor and stockroom with ease
Skills
Experience
Prior experience in a retail environment is required. Customer-facing sales and styling experience in fashion, accessories, or luxury goods is preferred.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 19.50 per hour.
