Kate Spade New York is hiring a Temporary Stylist in Sunbury, Ohio. Part-time retail role offering styling advisory, customer service, and competitive benefits.
Role & Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and confidently, demonstrating strong product knowledge across all Kate Spade categories
- Actively listen and ask insightful follow-up questions to understand customer needs and preferences
- Provide styling advice and suggest complementary products to create complete, coordinated looks
- Use creativity to showcase multiple ways to wear products and encourage customers to explore new styles
- Guide customers through purchase decisions and ensure seamless checkout experiences
- Reinforce customer choices and celebrate purchases to encourage return visits
- Drive sales results through strong customer connections and brand storytelling
- Maintain stockroom organization and execute accurate POS transactions
- Demonstrate flexibility in schedule to support peak retail periods, including nights, weekends, and public holidays
- Give and receive feedback constructively to support continuous improvement
Qualifications
- Professional selling skills with exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities
- Prior experience in a retail environment
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work collaboratively in a team setting
- Social media awareness and willingness to learn omni-channel and virtual selling techniques
- Fluent English proficiency
- Ability to lift at least 25 lbs regularly (up to 50 lbs occasionally), and to climb, bend, kneel, and maneuver the sales floor and stockroom
Skills
Experience
Prior experience in a retail environment is required. Candidates should demonstrate a track record of strong customer engagement and ability to drive sales through personal connections and product storytelling.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; further retail training or fashion-related education is preferred but not required.

The successful candidate will be located in Sunbury, Ohio, USA, with easy access to Columbus.
Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 19.50 per hour.
