Kate Spade New York seeks a Part-Time Style Advisor in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware to provide styling consultation and drive retail sales at Tanger Outlets.
Role & Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and confidently, demonstrating comprehensive product knowledge across all Kate Spade categories
- Actively listen and ask insightful follow-up questions to understand customer needs and lifestyle preferences
- Provide personalized styling advice, suggest complementary products, and create complete coordinated looks
- Showcase multiple ways to wear products through creative demonstrations and encourage customers to explore new styles
- Guide customers through purchase decisions and ensure a seamless, positive checkout experience
- Drive sales results through strong customer connections and compelling brand storytelling
- Maintain operational excellence, including stockroom organization, POS transactions, and inventory management
- Give and receive feedback in a constructive, professional manner to support continuous improvement
- Work flexible schedules to meet business needs, including evenings, weekends, busy seasons, and high-traffic retail days
Qualifications
- Professional selling skills with exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities
- Prior experience in a retail environment
- Strong ability to multitask, prioritize, and work collaboratively within a team setting
- Social media awareness and willingness to learn omni-channel and virtual selling techniques
- Fluency in English
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and public holidays
- Physical capability to lift at least 25 lbs regularly (up to 50 lbs occasionally), climb, bend, kneel, and navigate the sales floor and stockroom
