Temporary Stylist at Kate Spade (Pottstown, PA) – Part-time retail position offering styling and sales support across luxury handbags and accessories.
Role & Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and confidently, demonstrating strong product knowledge across handbags, ready-to-wear, jewelry, footwear, and home décor
- Actively listen and ask insightful follow-up questions to understand customer aesthetic and lifestyle needs
- Provide personalized styling advice, suggest complementary add-ons, and create complete looks tailored to individual preferences
- Use creativity to showcase multiple ways to wear products and encourage customers to explore new styles that suit their wardrobes
- Guide customers through purchase decisions and ensure a seamless checkout experience using POS systems
- Reinforce and celebrate customer choices, building brand loyalty and inviting repeat visits
- Drive sales results through strong customer connections, storytelling, and deep product knowledge across all categories
- Maintain operational excellence, including stockroom organization, inventory management, and store presentation
- Work collaboratively with team members and give/receive constructive feedback to support store performance
- Demonstrate awareness of social media trends and willingness to learn omni-channel and virtual selling techniques
Qualifications
- Professional selling skills with exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities
- Prior experience in a retail environment
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work collaboratively in a fast-paced team setting
- Strong social media awareness and willingness to embrace omni-channel selling
- English language proficiency (or local language proficiency as required by market)
- Ability to lift at least 25 lbs. regularly and up to 50 lbs. occasionally
- Physical capability to climb, bend, kneel, and navigate sales floor and stockroom
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, busy seasons, and retail peak days including public holidays

Experience
Prior experience in a retail environment is required. Experience in customer-facing roles, particularly in luxury or lifestyle retail, is strongly valued.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 19.50 per hour.
