Kate Spade New York seeks a Part-Time Style Advisor in New Orleans to deliver expert styling guidance and drive sales through exceptional customer engagement.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly and confidently, demonstrating comprehensive product knowledge across all Kate Spade categories
  • Actively listen and ask insightful follow-up questions to understand customer needs and lifestyle preferences
  • Provide expert styling advice, suggest complementary products, and create complete coordinated looks
  • Showcase multiple ways to wear and style products, encouraging customers to explore new aesthetic directions
  • Guide customers through purchase decisions and ensure a seamless, positive checkout experience
  • Maintain operational excellence including stockroom organization, inventory management, and accurate POS transactions
  • Demonstrate strong proficiency in omnichannel and virtual selling techniques
  • Give and receive feedback in a constructive, honest manner to support continuous improvement

Qualifications

  • Prior retail experience in a customer-facing environment
  • Professional selling skills with exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities
  • Strong product knowledge and ability to articulate brand heritage and product attributes
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and collaborate effectively within a team structure
  • Physical capability to lift at least 25 lbs regularly (up to 50 lbs occasionally), climb, bend, kneel, and navigate sales floor and stockroom
  • Social media awareness and willingness to learn omnichannel and virtual selling techniques
