Kate Spade New York is hiring a temporary part-time Style Advisor at Tanger Outlets Myrtle Beach. $15.00–$19.50/hr.
Role & Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and confidently while demonstrating strong product knowledge across handbags, ready-to-wear, jewelry, footwear, and home décor
- Actively listen and ask insightful follow-up questions to understand customer needs and preferences
- Provide styling advice, suggest complementary add-ons, and create complete looks that align with the customer's personal aesthetic
- Use creativity to showcase multiple ways to wear and style products, encouraging customers to explore new expressions
- Guide customers through purchase decisions and ensure a seamless checkout experience via POS systems
- Maintain operational excellence, including stockroom organization, merchandise presentation, and transaction accuracy
- Reinforce and celebrate customer choices while inviting return visits and building brand loyalty
- Drive sales results through strong customer connections and compelling brand storytelling
- Give and receive feedback in a constructive and professional manner
- Work collaboratively with team members to maintain store operations and customer service excellence
Qualifications
- Professional selling skills with exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities
- Prior experience in a retail environment
- Demonstrated ability to multitask, prioritize, and work collaboratively in a team setting
- Social media awareness and willingness to learn omni-channel and virtual selling techniques
- English proficiency (or local language proficiency per market)
- Ability to lift at least 25 lbs. regularly (up to 50 lbs. occasionally)
- Physical capability to climb, bend, kneel, and maneuver on sales floor and in stockroom
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, busy seasons, and public holidays as needed
Skills
Experience
Prior retail environment experience required. Strong background in customer-facing sales roles with demonstrated ability to build relationships and drive conversions.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 19.50 per hour.
