Kate Spade New York seeks a part-time Sales Associate in Merrimack, NH to deliver expert styling advice and drive retail sales ($15–$19.50/hr).
Role & Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and confidently, demonstrating comprehensive product knowledge across all Kate Spade categories
- Actively listen to and assess customer needs through insightful follow-up questioning
- Provide styling advice, suggest complementary products, and create complete looks that reflect customer lifestyle
- Drive sales through storytelling and strong customer connections while maintaining operational excellence
- Manage stockroom organization, POS transactions, and inventory maintenance
- Guide customers through purchase decisions and ensure seamless checkout experience
- Reinforce and celebrate customer choices, encouraging repeat visits and brand loyalty
- Work collaboratively with team members and provide constructive feedback in both directions
- Demonstrate willingness to learn omni-channel and virtual selling techniques
- Maintain flexible scheduling to accommodate nights, weekends, and high-traffic retail periods
Qualifications
- Prior experience in a retail or customer-facing environment
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities
- Professional selling skills and ability to build effective customer rapport
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced retail setting
- Proficiency in English (or local language proficiency per market)
- Physical capability to lift 25 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Ability to climb, bend, kneel, and navigate sales floor and stockroom areas
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and public holidays
Skills
Experience
Prior experience working in a retail environment, preferably in luxury fashion, accessories, or lifestyle brands.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; additional fashion, styling, or retail training is advantageous.

The successful candidate will be located in Merrimack, New Hampshire, USA, with easy access to Boston.
Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 19.50 per hour.
