Kate Spade New York seeks a part-time Temporary Stylist in Lutz, Florida. Assist customers with personalized styling and product selections.
Role & Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and confidently while demonstrating comprehensive product knowledge across all Kate Spade categories
- Actively listen and pose insightful follow-up questions to understand customer needs, preferences, and lifestyle requirements
- Provide personalized styling advice, suggest complementary add-ons, and curate complete looks that inspire customer confidence
- Use creativity to showcase multiple ways to wear products and encourage customers to explore new styles and combinations
- Guide customers through purchase decisions and ensure a seamless checkout experience at the point of sale
- Reinforce and celebrate customer choices to foster brand loyalty and encourage repeat visits
- Drive results through strong customer connections and compelling brand storytelling
- Maintain operational excellence, including stockroom organization, inventory management, and accurate POS transactions
- Give and receive feedback in an honest, constructive manner to support continuous professional development
Qualifications
- Prior experience in a retail or customer-facing environment
- Professional selling skills with exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities
- Demonstrated ability to multitask, prioritize, and work collaboratively within a team setting
- English proficiency (or local language proficiency per market)
- Ability to lift at least 25 lbs regularly (up to 50 lbs occasionally) and maneuver the sales floor and stockroom
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, busy seasons, and high-traffic retail days including public holidays
Skills
Experience
Prior experience working in a retail environment is required. Experience in luxury retail, fashion, or lifestyle goods is highly valued. Candidates should demonstrate a proven track record of building customer relationships and driving sales through personalized service and styling expertise.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent is typical for entry-level retail positions; formal education beyond this level is not required but may be valued depending on the candidate's work experience and demonstrated competencies.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 19.50 per hour.
