Role & Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and confidently while demonstrating comprehensive product knowledge across all Kate Spade categories
- Actively listen and ask insightful questions to understand customer aesthetic preferences and lifestyle needs
- Provide expert styling advice, suggest complementary add-ons, and curate complete looks that inspire customers
- Showcase multiple creative ways to wear products and encourage customers to explore new styles and perspectives
- Guide customers through purchase decisions and ensure a seamless, positive checkout experience
- Reinforce and celebrate customer choices while fostering return visits and loyalty
- Drive results through meaningful customer connections and compelling brand storytelling
- Maintain operational excellence including stockroom organization, POS transactions, and sales floor presentation
- Demonstrate proficiency with omni-channel and virtual selling techniques
- Work flexibly across nights, weekends, peak seasons, and high-traffic retail periods including public holidays
Qualifications
- Professional selling skills with exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities
- Prior experience in a retail environment
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a collaborative team setting
- Social media awareness and willingness to learn omni-channel and virtual selling techniques
- English language proficiency
- Ability to lift at least 25 lbs regularly (up to 50 lbs occasionally) and maneuver sales floor and stockroom
- Flexibility to work a schedule that accommodates business needs, including nights, weekends, and holiday periods
Skills
Experience
Prior experience working in a retail environment is required. Experience in fashion, luxury goods, or lifestyle retail is preferred.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; no tertiary education required.

This position is based in Halton Hills, Ontario, Canada, within easy reach of Toronto.
Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from CAD 17.60 to CAD 22 per hour.
