Kate Spade New York seeks a part-time Style Advisor at Grapevine Mills to deliver personalized styling and drive sales through authentic customer engagement.
Role & Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and confidently while demonstrating strong product knowledge across all Kate Spade categories including handbags, ready-to-wear, jewelry, footwear, and home décor
- Actively listen and ask insightful follow-up questions to understand customer aesthetic preferences, lifestyle needs, and style goals
- Provide personalized styling advice, suggest coordinated add-ons, and create complete looks that showcase multiple ways to wear products
- Guide customers through purchase decisions with confidence and ensure a seamless, celebratory checkout experience
- Reinforce and celebrate customer choices while inviting them to return and build long-term relationships
- Maintain operational excellence including stockroom organization, inventory management, and accurate POS transactions
- Demonstrate drive for results through strong customer connections, authentic storytelling, and consistent achievement of sales goals
- Give and receive feedback in a constructive, honest manner and contribute to team development
- Manage flexible scheduling to meet business needs, including nights, weekends, busy seasons, and high-traffic retail days
Qualifications
- Professional selling skills with exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities
- Prior experience in a retail environment
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work collaboratively in a team setting
- Social media awareness and willingness to learn omni-channel and virtual selling techniques
- Fluency in English (or local market language)
- Physical ability to lift at least 25 lbs regularly (up to 50 lbs occasionally), climb, bend, kneel, and maneuver the sales floor and stockroom
- Embodiment of core competencies including Customer Focus, Courage, Creativity, Drive for Results, and Interpersonal Savvy
