Role & Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and confidently while demonstrating comprehensive product knowledge across all Kate Spade categories
- Actively listen to customer needs and ask insightful follow-up questions to guide styling decisions
- Provide expert styling advice, suggest coordinated add-ons, and create complete looks that showcase product versatility
- Guide customers through purchase decisions and ensure a seamless checkout experience
- Drive sales results through strong customer connections, compelling brand storytelling, and relationship-building
- Maintain operational excellence including stockroom organization, inventory management, and POS transactions
- Reinforce and celebrate customer choices while inviting repeat visits and building brand loyalty
- Execute flexible scheduling to accommodate business needs, including nights, weekends, holiday periods, and peak retail traffic days
Qualifications
- Proven professional selling skills with exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities
- Prior retail environment experience
- Strong ability to multitask, prioritize, and work collaboratively within a team structure
- Demonstrated social media awareness and willingness to learn omnichannel and virtual selling techniques
- Proficiency in English
- Physical capability to lift regularly (up to 25 lbs), and occasionally up to 50 lbs; ability to climb, bend, kneel, and maneuver the sales floor and stockroom
Skills
Experience
Prior experience in a retail sales environment is required; demonstrated success engaging customers and driving results through relationship-building and storytelling is preferred.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred; however, exceptional retail experience and demonstrated customer service excellence may substitute for formal educational credentials.

The successful candidate will be located in Deer Park, New York, USA, with easy access to New York City.
Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 24.25 per hour.
