Kate Spade New York seeks a Stylist to serve as a trusted advisor assisting customers in selecting handbags, ready-to-wear, jewelry, footwear, and home décor that suit their aesthetic and lifestyle. The role emphasizes personalized styling consultation, product knowledge across all categories, and the ability to guide customers through complete looks while driving sales through storytelling and customer connections. This is a part-time position located at Phoenix Premium Outlets in Chandler, Arizona.
Role & Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and confidently while demonstrating strong product knowledge across all Kate Spade categories
- Actively listen and ask insightful follow-up questions to understand customer needs and preferences
- Provide styling advice, suggest complementary add-ons, and create complete looks tailored to individual aesthetics
- Use creativity to showcase multiple ways to wear products and encourage customers to explore new styles
- Guide customers through purchase decisions and ensure a seamless checkout experience
- Reinforce and celebrate customer choices while inviting repeat visits
- Maintain stockroom organization and execute POS transactions with operational excellence
- Give and receive feedback in a constructive manner to support continuous improvement
Qualifications
- Professional selling skills with exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities
- Prior experience in a retail environment
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work collaboratively in a team setting
- Proficiency in English
- Social media awareness and willingness to learn omni-channel and virtual selling techniques
- Physical capability to lift at least 25 lbs regularly (up to 50 lbs occasionally) and to climb, bend, kneel, and maneuver the sales floor and stockroom
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, busy seasons, and high-traffic retail days including public holidays
