Role & Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and confidently while demonstrating comprehensive product knowledge across all Kate Spade categories
- Actively listen and ask insightful follow-up questions to understand customer needs and preferences
- Provide personalized styling advice, suggest complementary products, and create complete coordinated looks
- Showcase multiple styling options and encourage customers to explore new and expressive styles
- Guide customers through purchase decisions and ensure seamless checkout and payment processing
- Maintain operational excellence including stockroom organization and point-of-sale (POS) system transactions
- Reinforce and celebrate customer choices to build loyalty and encourage repeat visits
- Demonstrate strong brand knowledge and articulate product attributes, heritage, and value proposition
Qualifications
- Professional selling skills with exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities
- Prior experience working in a retail environment
- Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work collaboratively within a team setting
- Social media awareness and willingness to learn omni-channel and virtual selling techniques
- Fluency in English
- Physical ability to lift at least 25 lbs regularly (up to 50 lbs occasionally) and to climb, bend, kneel, and navigate the sales floor and stockroom
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, busy seasons, high-traffic retail days, and public holidays as business requires
