Kate Spade New York seeks a part-time Style Advisor in Byron Center, Michigan. Hourly rate $15.00–$19.25.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly and confidently, demonstrating strong product knowledge across all Kate Spade categories
  • Actively listen and ask insightful follow-up questions to understand customer needs and preferences
  • Provide personalized styling advice, suggest complementary products, and create complete coordinated looks
  • Use creativity to showcase multiple ways to wear products and encourage customers to explore new styles
  • Guide customers through purchase decisions and ensure a seamless checkout experience
  • Maintain operational excellence, including stockroom organization and accurate POS transactions
  • Reinforce and celebrate customer choices while inviting them to return
  • Give and receive constructive feedback in an honest manner

Qualifications

  • Professional selling skills with exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities
  • Prior experience in a retail environment
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work collaboratively in a team setting
  • Strong English proficiency
  • Ability to lift at least 25 lbs regularly (up to 50 lbs occasionally) and maneuver sales floor and stockroom areas
  • Flexibility to work nights, weekends, busy seasons, and high-traffic retail days including public holidays

Experience

Prior experience in a retail sales environment, preferably in fashion, accessories, or lifestyle retail.
