Kate Spade New York seeks a temporary Style Advisor in Auburn Hills, Michigan to drive sales through expert styling and exceptional customer engagement.
Role & Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and confidently while demonstrating comprehensive product knowledge across all Kate Spade categories
- Actively listen and ask insightful follow-up questions to understand customer needs and preferences
- Provide styling advice, suggest complementary products, and create complete looks that encourage customers to explore new styles
- Guide customers through purchase decisions and ensure seamless checkout experiences
- Reinforce and celebrate customer choices while inviting them to return
- Drive results through strong customer connections and compelling brand storytelling
- Maintain operational excellence including stockroom organization, inventory management, and accurate POS transactions
- Give and receive feedback in an honest, constructive manner
- Demonstrate social media awareness and willingness to learn omni-channel and virtual selling techniques
- Perform physical duties including lifting up to 25 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally, as well as climbing, bending, kneeling, and maneuvering the sales floor and stockroom
Qualifications
- Professional selling skills with exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities
- Prior retail experience
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work collaboratively in a team setting
- Proficiency in English or local market language
- Flexibility to work a varied schedule including nights, weekends, high-traffic retail days, and peak seasons
- Physical capability to lift at least 25 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally
Skills
Experience
Prior experience in a retail environment, preferably in fashion, accessories, or lifestyle goods.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

This position is based in Auburn Hills, Michigan, USA, within easy reach of Detroit.
Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 19.50 per hour.
