Kate Spade New York seeks a part-time Style Advisor in Allen, Texas to deliver expert styling and drive customer engagement through authentic product knowledge.
Role & Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and confidently, demonstrating comprehensive product knowledge across all Kate Spade categories
- Actively listen to customer needs and ask insightful follow-up questions to understand aesthetic preferences and lifestyle requirements
- Provide expert styling advice, suggest complementary products, and create complete looks that encourage add-on sales
- Use creativity to showcase multiple ways to wear products and inspire customers to explore new styles and combinations
- Guide customers through purchase decisions, ensure seamless checkout experiences, and reinforce brand loyalty by celebrating customer choices
- Drive sales results through strong customer connections, authentic brand storytelling, and demonstrated product expertise
- Maintain operational excellence by organizing stockroom inventory, executing accurate POS transactions, and adhering to visual merchandising standards
- Learn and leverage omnichannel and virtual selling techniques, demonstrating social media awareness
- Give and receive feedback in a constructive, honest manner and support team collaboration across the retail floor
Qualifications
- Prior experience in a retail sales environment
- Professional selling skills with exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities
- Strong product knowledge capability and willingness to master all Kate Spade categories
- Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment
- Flexibility to work varying schedules including nights, weekends, and peak retail periods
- Ability to lift at least 25 lbs regularly (up to 50 lbs occasionally) and to climb, bend, kneel, and maneuver the sales floor and stockroom
Skills
Experience
Prior experience in a retail environment is required. The ideal candidate demonstrates professional selling skills, genuine customer focus, and the ability to build rapport with diverse clientele while maintaining composure in a high-traffic retail setting.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred; additional fashion, merchandising, or retail certification a plus but not required.
Workplace
The successful candidate will be located in Allen, Texas, USA, with easy access to Dallas.
Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 19.50 per hour.
