Kate Spade Store Supervisor in Torrance, CA (Del Amo Fashion Center) — full-time retail supervisor role at Kate Spade with $17.00–$27.75/hr pay.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead and model exceptional customer service and kate spade service behaviours on the sales floor, fostering client relationships and VIP retention through proactive outreach and follow-up.
- Drive personal and store sales performance by coaching the team, setting and tracking KPIs, analyzing metrics, and implementing best practices to improve results.
- Supervise daily store operations including opening/closing procedures, cash handling, bank deposits, POS operations, register reconciliation and key-holding responsibilities.
- Manage inventory integrity through accurate POS transactions and inventory workflows (transfers, receiving, shipments, repairs, damages); maintain an organized stockroom and timely replenishment.
- Coach, onboard and develop sales associates; provide performance feedback, support recruitment activities and act as an advocate for team development.
- Activate omni-channel and virtual selling initiatives (including live-stream shopping and clienteling) and lead customer data capture to grow loyalty.
- Promote brand-safe social media engagement and awareness of retail trends to support merchandising and client outreach initiatives.
- Ensure a safe, inclusive and compliant store environment that adheres to brand standards and local regulations.
Qualifications
- Minimum two years’ experience in a retail service environment in a supervisory, management or floor-leadership capacity; luxury or premium retail experience preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to coach, motivate and develop retail teams, with experience in goal-setting and KPI-driven environments.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; detail-oriented and able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Comfortable with omni-channel retail tools, clienteling systems and virtual selling techniques.
- Ability to perform physical retail tasks: lift regularly up to 25 lbs (occasionally up to 50 lbs), climb, bend, kneel and move through sales floor and stockroom.
- Legal eligibility to work in the United States and availability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, peak seasons and public holidays.

Experience
At least 2+ years in retail supervisory or floor leadership roles, preferably within luxury or premium brands; proven track record of meeting sales targets, coaching staff and managing store operations.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or formal retail/management training preferred.
