Kate Spade New York is hiring a Store Supervisor in Riverhead, NY to lead sales, clienteling and store operations at Tanger Outlets Riverhead.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead and model exceptional in-store customer service and kate spade service behaviours to create a high-energy, customer-first sales environment.
- Drive personal sales and coach the team to meet and exceed store sales targets and KPIs; analyze performance metrics and implement best practices.
- Develop client relationships through proactive outreach, VIP retention activities and accurate customer data capture to grow loyalty and repeat purchases.
- Supervise daily store operations including opening/closing procedures, cash handling, bank deposits, POS transactions and key-holding responsibilities.
- Oversee inventory integrity: process transfers, receiving, shipments, repairs and damages; maintain an organised stockroom and timely replenishment to the sales floor.
- Support recruitment, onboarding and ongoing development of sales staff; provide performance feedback and act as an advocate for team development.
- Drive omni-channel and virtual selling initiatives (including live-stream shopping) and promote brand-safe social media engagement and trend awareness.
- Ensure compliance with company standards, loss-prevention procedures and workplace safety; perform physical tasks required for stockroom and sales floor management.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2+ years in a retail service environment with experience in management or floor leadership; luxury or premium retail preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; detail-oriented, proactive, and able to prioritise in a fast-paced setting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Social media literacy and familiarity with omni-channel selling and clienteling systems.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, peak seasons and public holidays.
- Ability to lift regularly at least 25 lbs (up to 50 lbs occasionally) and to climb, bend, kneel and manoeuvre on the sales floor and in the stockroom.

Experience
At least two years in a retail service environment in a management or floor leadership capacity; experience in luxury or premium retail is preferred.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; a combination of education and relevant retail leadership experience will be considered.
