Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead and model exceptional customer service and kate spade brand behaviors on the sales floor to drive client loyalty and VIP retention.
  • Achieve personal sales targets and coach the team to meet store KPIs through daily metric analysis and implementation of best practices.
  • Develop client relationships via proactive outreach, clienteling and in-store/after-sales service to increase repeat business.
  • Support recruitment, onboarding and ongoing training; provide regular feedback and advocate for team development.
  • Manage operational duties including opening/closing procedures, cash handling, bank deposits, POS transactions and key-holding responsibilities.
  • Oversee inventory activities — receiving, transfers, shipments, repairs and damages — maintain stockroom organization and ensure timely replenishment.
  • Drive omni-channel and virtual selling initiatives (including live-stream shopping); capture customer data to grow loyalty.
  • Promote brand-safe social media engagement and maintain awareness of platform trends to support store marketing.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in a retail service environment in a management or floor leadership role; luxury or premium retail preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; detail-oriented, proactive, able to multi-task and prioritize.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Social media literacy and understanding of platform trends; comfortable with omni-channel and virtual selling tools and clienteling systems.
  • Ability to lift regularly 25 lbs (up to 50 lbs occasionally), climb, bend, kneel and move throughout sales floor and stockroom.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, peak seasons and public holidays.

Experience
