Kate Spade seeks a Store Supervisor in New York, NY to lead retail sales, merchandising and team performance.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead daily store operations to deliver exceptional client service and meet sales objectives; coach and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and store KPIs.
  • Execute visual merchandising and floor standards to maintain brand presentation and product storytelling.
  • Manage cash handling, point-of-sale transactions and daily reconciliation; enforce loss-prevention and inventory-control procedures.
  • Create staff schedules, oversee shift coverage and manage time-and-attendance to optimize productivity.
  • Conduct regular training, performance evaluations and on-boarding for new hires to sustain high service standards.
  • Drive local clienteling activities and CRM follow-up to foster loyalty and repeat business.
  • Prepare basic sales reports and communicate performance insights and action plans to store leadership and district management.

Qualifications

  • Proven leadership and people-management skills with a customer-centric approach.
  • Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail for cash handling and inventory control.
  • Excellent verbal communication and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Ability to work a retail schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.

Experience
