Role & Responsibilities
- Lead daily store operations and the sales floor team to deliver consistent, elevated client experiences and achieve sales targets.
- Coach, mentor and develop direct reports through on-the-job training, performance feedback and targeted action plans.
- Drive KPIs including conversion, average transaction value and units per transaction through proactive clienteling and selling techniques.
- Manage visual merchandising standards, ensuring brand presentation and product placement align with seasonal directives.
- Oversee inventory control, receiving, stock replenishment and periodic stock counts to minimize shrink and maximize availability.
- Prepare and maintain employee schedules, support payroll processes and ensure compliance with company policies and local labor regulations.
- Execute opening and closing procedures, enforce loss-prevention protocols and maintain a safe, orderly store environment.
- Collaborate with district leadership on local marketing, promotions and events to grow client acquisition and retention.
Qualifications
- Proven leadership capability with excellent interpersonal and coaching skills.
- Strong commercial acumen and a demonstrable track record of meeting or exceeding retail sales goals.
- Exceptional client service orientation and the ability to instil a customer-first culture in the team.
- Highly organized with attention to visual standards, stock integrity and operational detail.
- Flexible availability including weekends, evenings and holiday periods; ability to travel occasionally for training or district meetings.
Skills
Experience
Minimum 2 years of retail experience with at least 1 year in a supervisory or team-lead capacity; experience in fashion, accessories or luxury retail is strongly preferred.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary qualification in retail management, business or a related field preferred.
