Kate Spade Supervisor I — Mirabel, Quebec. Lead the sales floor, coach the team and manage operations at Premium Outlets Montreal.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead the sales floor to achieve personal and store sales targets and KPIs; analyze metrics and implement best practices to improve performance and efficiency.
- Deliver exemplary client service and lead proactive outreach, VIP retention and loyalty-driving initiatives.
- Model Kate Spade service behaviours on the floor — meet, greet, discover needs and create lasting client relationships.
- Coach, develop and motivate the sales team; support recruitment, onboarding and ongoing training and provide performance feedback to store leadership.
- Supervise operational activities including opening/closing procedures, cash handling, bank deposits, register operations and key-holding responsibilities.
- Oversee POS transactions and inventory functions (transfers, receiving, shipments, repairs, damages) to maintain inventory integrity.
- Manage an organized stockroom and direct timely replenishment to ensure product availability on the sales floor.
- Drive omni-channel and virtual selling initiatives (including live-stream selling) and lead customer data capture to grow repeat purchases.
- Promote brand-safe social media engagement and maintain awareness of platform and trend developments.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2+ years in a retail service environment in a management or floor leadership role; luxury/premium retail preferred; combinations of education and experience considered.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; detail-oriented, proactive and able to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Proven ability to lead on the sales floor, coach teams and influence selling behaviours.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Social media literacy and familiarity with omni-channel/virtual selling tools and clienteling systems.
- Strong English language proficiency.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, peak seasons and public holidays.
- Ability to lift at least 25 lbs regularly (up to 50 lbs occasionally) and perform physical tasks such as climbing, bending and kneeling.
Skills
Experience
At least 2 years of experience in a retail service environment in a management or floor leadership capacity; prior experience in luxury or premium retail is preferred. Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.
Education
No formal degree required; a combination of education and relevant retail leadership experience will be considered.
Workplace
This position is based in Mirabel, Quebec, Canada, within easy reach of Montreal.
Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from CAD 21 to CAD 23 per hour.
