Kate Spade New York hiring Store Supervisor in Kansas City, Kansas. Lead retail team with sales, service excellence, and operational leadership at luxury outlet location.
Role & Responsibilities
- Drive personal and team sales performance while analyzing metrics and implementing best practices to improve results and KPI achievement
- Build and maintain client relationships through proactive outreach, exceptional in-store service, and VIP retention strategies in accordance with Kate Spade service standards
- Coach and develop team members on sales goals, performance, and professional growth; support recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing training initiatives
- Perform and supervise opening and closing procedures including cash handling, bank deposits, POS operations, and facility security with key-holding responsibilities
- Manage inventory functions including POS transactions, transfers, receiving, shipments, repairs, and damages to ensure accuracy and availability
- Drive omni-channel and virtual selling initiatives, including live-stream shopping, and lead customer data capture to grow loyalty and repeat purchases
- Model Kate Spade service behaviors and brand values, setting the tone for floor interactions and fostering an inclusive, equitable workplace culture
- Provide feedback to store leadership on individual performance and development needs; advocate for team member growth and advancement
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in retail service environment in a management or floor leadership role, preferably luxury or premium retail
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to engage confidently with customers and staff
- Social media literacy and awareness of platform trends
- Comfort with omni-channel and virtual selling tools and clienteling systems
- Ability to lift at least 25 lbs regularly (up to 50 lbs occasionally); ability to climb, bend, kneel, and maneuver sales floor and stockroom
- Competencies including courage, creativity, customer focus, drive for results, interpersonal savvy, learning on the fly, strategic agility, and ability to develop direct reports and build effective teams

Experience
2+ years of experience in a retail service environment in a management or floor leadership role, with preference for luxury or premium retail background. A combination of relevant education and experience will be considered.
