Kate Spade New York seeks a Store Supervisor in Honolulu, HI to lead sales, operations and omni-channel initiatives at the Royal Hawaiian location.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead the sales floor to achieve personal and store sales targets and KPIs; analyze metrics and implement best practices to improve productivity and conversion.
- Cultivate and maintain client relationships through proactive outreach, VIP retention strategies and adherence to Kate Spade service standards; model the brand’s ‘host of the party’ approach to customer engagement.
- Coach, develop and mentor store staff; support recruitment, onboarding and ongoing training and provide constructive performance feedback to store leadership.
- Oversee daily operational tasks including opening/closing procedures, cash handling, bank deposits, register operations and key-holding responsibilities to ensure compliance and security.
- Manage inventory integrity by supervising POS transactions, transfers, receiving, shipments, repairs and damages; maintain an organized stockroom and timely replenishment to the sales floor.
- Drive omni-channel and virtual selling initiatives including live-stream shopping; lead customer data capture and loyalty growth efforts and promote brand-safe social media engagement.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2+ years’ experience in a retail service environment in a management or floor leadership capacity; luxury or premium retail experience preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail and the ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Social media literacy with an understanding of platform trends; comfort using omni-channel/virtual selling tools and clienteling systems.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, peak season and public holidays; ability to lift regularly up to 25 lbs and occasionally up to 50 lbs.

At least 2 years of supervisory or floor-leadership experience in retail; prior experience in luxury or premium retail environments is preferred.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; combination of education and relevant retail experience will be considered.

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 17 to USD 27.75 per hour.
