Kate Spade in Gilroy, CA seeks a Store Supervisor to lead sales, clienteling and store operations. Full-time position at Gilroy Premium Outlets.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead daily sales-floor operations, modelling brand service behaviours and maintaining high standards of customer engagement and visual presentation.
- Drive personal and team sales performance against KPIs; analyse sales metrics and implement corrective actions and best practices to maximise conversion and productivity.
- Develop and retain clientele through proactive outreach, loyalty capture, VIP servicing and after-sales follow-up to increase repeat purchase and lifetime value.
- Coach, mentor and develop store team members; support recruitment, onboarding and performance management, providing timely feedback and growth plans.
- Oversee operational and compliance activities including opening/closing procedures, cash handling, bank deposits, POS transactions, inventory controls, stockroom organization and securing the facility (key-holding responsibilities).
- Execute omni-channel initiatives and virtual selling activities; promote brand-safe social media engagement and ensure accurate customer data capture for CRM and loyalty programmes.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a retail service environment in a management or floor leadership role; luxury or premium retail experience preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage customers and coach staff effectively.
- Demonstrable organisational aptitude with the ability to multi-task, prioritise and analyse sales metrics.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, peak seasons and public holidays; approved to perform key-holding duties.
- Physical ability to lift at least 25 lbs regularly (up to 50 lbs occasionally) and to climb, bend, kneel, and manoeuvre throughout sales floor and stockroom.
Skills
Experience
At least two years of retail floor leadership or supervisory experience; prior exposure to luxury or premium retail environments strongly preferred. Experience in clienteling, KPI-driven selling and team coaching is required.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; combination of education and retail leadership experience will be considered.

The successful candidate will be located in Gilroy, California, USA, with easy access to San Jose.
Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 17 to USD 27.75 per hour.
