Kate Spade in Commerce, CA seeks a Store Supervisor to lead sales, coach teams and drive omni-channel clienteling.
Role & Responsibilities
- Supervise daily sales-floor operations, ensuring a customer-first environment and consistent adherence to Kate Spade service standards.
- Drive personal and store sales performance to meet KPI targets; analyse sales metrics and implement initiatives to improve results and efficiency.
- Coach, mentor and develop sales associates through goal-setting, feedback, and ongoing training; support recruitment and onboarding activities.
- Model selling behaviours and client engagement (“host of the party”): greet customers, lead needs discovery and cultivate long-term client relationships.
- Lead omni-channel and virtual selling efforts, including live-stream selling and digital client outreach, to grow loyalty and repeat business.
- Oversee operational tasks including opening/closing procedures, cash handling, bank deposits, POS transactions and inventory functions.
- Maintain stockroom organisation and direct timely replenishment to ensure product availability on the sales floor.
- Capture and maintain customer data for loyalty programmes; promote brand-appropriate social media engagement and trend awareness.
- Perform key-holding responsibilities and ensure compliance with store security and loss-prevention procedures.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2+ years' experience in a retail service environment in a management or floor leadership role; luxury or premium retail preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; detail-oriented and able to multi-task and prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook; comfortable using POS systems, clienteling platforms and omni-channel selling tools.
- Social media literacy and an understanding of platform trends to support brand-safe engagement.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, peak seasons and public holidays.
- Capacity to lift regularly at least 25 lbs (occasionally up to 50 lbs) and to climb, bend, kneel and manoeuvre between sales floor and stockroom.

At least 2 years of retail supervisory or floor leadership experience; prior exposure to luxury or premium retail environments is preferred.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; a combination of education and retail management experience will be considered.
