Role & Responsibilities

  • Drive personal sales performance while coaching the team to achieve sales and KPI targets; analyze metrics and implement best practices to enhance results and efficiency
  • Build and maintain client relationships through proactive outreach, embody Kate Spade service standards, and lead VIP retention initiatives
  • Model brand service behaviors, create engaging in-store experiences, and facilitate needs discovery conversations
  • Coach team members on performance goals and development; support recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing training
  • Provide constructive feedback to store leadership on individual and team performance; advocate for team development and professional growth
  • Foster an inclusive, equitable, and diverse workplace culture that empowers authenticity and engagement
  • Supervise and perform opening and closing procedures, including cash handling, bank deposits, register operations, and facility security with key-holding responsibilities
  • Process POS transactions accurately and manage inventory functions (transfers, receiving, shipments, repairs, damage documentation)
  • Maintain organized stockroom operations; direct timely merchandise replenishment to ensure sales floor availability
  • Drive omni-channel and virtual selling initiatives, including live-stream shopping capabilities
  • Promote brand-safe social media engagement and awareness of platform trends
  • Lead customer data capture efforts to grow loyalty program participation and repeat business

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2+ years of retail service experience in a management or floor leadership role (luxury or premium retail preferred)
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Strong social media literacy and understanding of platform trends
  • Comfort with omni-channel and virtual selling tools and clienteling systems
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to engage confidently with customers and staff
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of multi-tasking and prioritizing effectively
  • Ability to lift at least 25 lbs. regularly and up to 50 lbs. occasionally; capable of climbing, bending, kneeling, and maneuvering sales floor and stockroom spaces

High school diploma or equivalent; a combination of relevant education and retail management experience will be considered.
