Kate Spade New York seeks a Store Leader in Pooler, Georgia to lead store operations, drive sales, and build a high-performing retail team.
Role & Responsibilities
- Model Kate Spade New York service behaviors and selling standards while providing real-time coaching to ensure premium client experiences
- Drive clienteling and omni-channel strategies through CRM/client book usage, proactive outreach, and achievement of KPIs (conversion, AOV, UPT, virtual appointments, ship-from-store, BOPIS)
- Empower team members to resolve customer issues efficiently and leverage social selling programs, including live stream shopping where applicable
- Collect and share customer feedback and product insights with leadership to inform strategic decisions
- Recruit, onboard, train, and motivate a high-performing team reflecting Kate Spade New York's brand values
- Set clear goals and provide ongoing coaching, performance management, regular check-ins, and annual evaluations
- Recognize strong performance and address underperformance through targeted development plans
- Take full ownership of store financial performance by forecasting, planning, and delivering against sales and productivity goals
- Analyze selling reports and business trends to identify opportunities and implement action plans
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners to execute strategies driving results
- Communicate Kate Spade New York's aesthetic and lifestyle philosophy to team members and clients
- Ensure visual directives are executed consistently and store maintenance standards are upheld
- Oversee operational procedures including opening/closing routines, cash handling, bank deposits, and facility security
- Manage scheduling and payroll within budget to maintain optimal sales floor coverage
- Protect inventory integrity through accurate processing of markdowns, transfers, damages, shipping, and receiving
- Ensure compliance with loss prevention, safety, and policy standards; lead regular store meetings
Qualifications
- 3+ years of store leadership experience in retail or service environment; luxury/premium experience preferred
- Proven sales leadership, coaching and development capabilities, stakeholder management expertise
- Strong communication, conflict mediation, and time management skills
- Data-driven decision-making capabilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Familiarity with CRM/clienteling tools
- Social media literacy and understanding of live/virtual selling trends
- Ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, peak seasons, and holidays
- Ability to lift at least 25 lbs regularly (up to 50 lbs occasionally); ability to climb, bend, kneel, and maneuver sales floor and stockroom
Skills
Experience
3+ years of store leadership in a retail or service environment, with luxury or premium retail experience preferred. A combination of relevant education and experience will be considered.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; additional retail management training or certification is a plus.
Workplace
The successful candidate will be located in Pooler, Georgia, USA, with easy access to Savannah.
Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 30 to USD 44.75 per hour.
