Role & Responsibilities

  • Model Kate Spade New York service behaviors and selling standards, coaching in real time to ensure premium client experience
  • Drive clienteling and omni-channel strategies through consistent CRM/client book usage, proactive outreach, and achievement of key performance indicators (conversion, average order value, units per transaction, virtual appointments, ship-from-store, BOPIS)
  • Empower the team to resolve customer issues efficiently and leverage social selling programs, including live stream shopping where applicable
  • Collect and share customer feedback and product insights with leadership to inform strategic decisions and enhance overall experience
  • Recruit, onboard, train, and motivate a high-performing team reflecting Kate Spade New York's brand values and commitment to diversity and inclusion
  • Establish clear goals and provide ongoing coaching, performance management, regular check-ins, and annual evaluations
  • Recognize strong performance and address underperformance through targeted development plans

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of store leadership experience in retail or service; luxury or premium brand experience preferred
  • Proven sales leadership capability, coaching and team development, stakeholder management, and strong communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability in conflict mediation, time management, and data-driven decision-making
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Familiarity with CRM and clienteling tools; social media literacy and understanding of live and virtual selling trends
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong English language proficiency
  • Flexibility to work varied schedules including nights, weekends, peak seasons, and high-traffic retail days (including public holidays)
