Kate Spade seeks a Store Leader in New York City to lead boutique operations, drive sales and deliver elevated client experiences.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day store operations to deliver exemplary client experiences and achieve sales objectives.
  • Recruit, coach and develop a high-performing sales team through ongoing training, performance reviews and career development plans.
  • Drive sales performance by setting targets, monitoring KPIs and executing action plans to maximise conversion and average transaction value.
  • Own visual merchandising standards and store presentation to ensure alignment with brand directives and seasonal campaigns.
  • Manage inventory control, stock replenishment, receiving processes and shrink minimisation.
  • Prepare and analyse daily/weekly sales reports, forecasts and expense controls to protect store profitability.
  • Ensure compliance with company procedures including cash handling, loss prevention and health & safety requirements.
  • Plan and execute clienteling activities and events to cultivate loyal, high-value customers.

Qualifications

  • Proven leadership in a retail environment with responsibility for hiring, developing and motivating staff.
  • Demonstrable track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets, ideally within premium or fashion retail.
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience preparing basic P&L, managing expenses and interpreting sales metrics.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a service-oriented approach to client relationships.
  • Flexibility to work retail hours including evenings, weekends and peak trading periods; legal right to work in the hiring country.

Experience
