Kate Spade Store Leader in New York — lead boutique operations, drive sales and deliver exceptional client experiences.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day boutique operations to achieve sales targets, margin objectives and operational KPIs.
  • Recruit, coach and develop a high-performing sales team; set individual and team targets and manage performance reviews.
  • Deliver exceptional clienteling and customer service standards, cultivating long-term client relationships and repeat business.
  • Oversee visual merchandising and store presentation to ensure brand standards and seasonal updates are executed consistently.
  • Manage inventory control, stock replenishment, receive and process deliveries, and minimize shrink through loss prevention practices.
  • Control payroll, scheduling and store-level P&L awareness to optimise labour and operational costs.
  • Drive omnichannel fulfilment activities (click & collect, returns handling) in partnership with e-commerce and regional operations.
  • Partner with district/regional management on local marketing initiatives, store events and community engagement.

Qualifications

  • Proven retail leadership experience with responsibility for store performance, sales targets and team management.
  • Demonstrable ability to recruit, develop and retain retail talent while maintaining high service standards.
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience managing store-level budgets, inventory and basic P&L metrics.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a customer-first mindset; proven clienteling experience in a premium or luxury environment.
  • Ability to manage visual merchandising standards and implement seasonal floor moves to reflect brand directives.
