Role & Responsibilities
- Model Kate Spade New York service behaviors and selling standards, coaching associates in real time to ensure premium client experiences
- Drive clienteling and omni-channel strategies through consistent CRM usage, proactive outreach, thank-you follow-ups, and achievement of KPIs including conversion, AOV, UPT, virtual appointments, ship-from-store, and BOPIS
- Empower team members to resolve customer issues swiftly and leverage social selling programs, including live stream shopping initiatives
- Collect and share customer feedback and product insights with leadership to inform business decisions and enhance customer experience
- Recruit, onboard, train, and motivate a high-performing team reflecting Kate Spade New York's brand values and commitment to diversity and inclusion
- Set clear performance goals and provide ongoing coaching, regular check-ins, and annual evaluations; recognize strong performance and address underperformance through development plans
- Take full ownership of store financial performance by forecasting, planning, and delivering against sales and productivity goals
- Analyze selling reports and business trends to identify opportunities and implement targeted action plans
- Collaborate with leadership and cross-functional partners in visual merchandising, operations, HR, merchandising, and marketing to execute strategic initiatives

- Ensure visual directives are executed consistently and maintain store maintenance standards, creating compelling brand-aligned storytelling through displays and windows
- Oversee all operational procedures including opening/closing routines, cash handling, bank deposits, and facility security
- Manage scheduling and payroll within budget parameters to maintain optimal sales floor coverage
- Protect inventory integrity through accurate processing of markdowns, transfers, damages, shipping, and receiving
- Ensure compliance with loss prevention, safety, and policy standards; lead regular store meetings for team alignment and communication
Qualifications
- 3+ years of store leadership experience in retail or service environments; luxury or premium brand experience preferred
- Proven sales leadership capabilities and team coaching and development skills
- Strong stakeholder management and communication abilities
- Demonstrated conflict mediation and time management expertise
- Data-driven decision-making and analytical capabilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Familiarity with CRM and clienteling tools
- Social media literacy and understanding of live and virtual selling trends
- Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment with flexible scheduling including nights, weekends, and peak seasons
- Ability to lift at least 25 lbs regularly (up to 50 lbs occasionally), climb, bend, kneel, and maneuver sales floor and stockroom
Skills
Experience
3+ years of store leadership experience in retail or service environments, with luxury or premium brand experience preferred. Demonstrated expertise in sales leadership, team coaching, stakeholder management, and data-driven decision-making required.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; a combination of relevant education and retail leadership experience will be considered.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 38.25 to USD 51.75 per hour.
