Role & Responsibilities

  • Model Kate Spade New York service behaviours and selling standards, providing real-time coaching to ensure premium client experience delivery
  • Drive clienteling and omni-channel strategies by ensuring consistent CRM usage, proactive customer outreach, thank-you follow-ups, and achievement of KPIs including conversion, average order value, units per transaction, virtual appointments, ship-from-store, and BOPIS
  • Recruit, onboard, train, and motivate a high-performing team that reflects Kate Spade New York brand values and fosters inclusion and authenticity
  • Set clear goals and provide ongoing coaching, performance management, and annual evaluations; recognize strong performance and address underperformance through targeted development
  • Take full ownership of store financial performance by forecasting, planning, and delivering against sales and productivity targets
  • Analyze selling reports and business trends to identify opportunities and implement action plans in collaboration with cross-functional leadership
  • Execute visual directives consistently and maintain store standards, creating compelling brand-aligned storytelling through displays and window presentations
  • Oversee operational procedures including opening and closing routines, cash handling, bank deposits, facility security, and loss prevention compliance
  • Manage scheduling and payroll within budget to maintain optimal sales floor coverage and team productivity
  • Protect inventory integrity through accurate processing of markdowns, transfers, damages, shipping, and receiving

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of store leadership experience in retail or service environments; luxury or premium brand experience preferred
  • Proven track record of sales leadership, team coaching, and talent development
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and familiarity with CRM or clienteling platforms
  • Demonstrated stakeholder management, communication, and conflict mediation capabilities
  • Social media literacy and understanding of live and virtual selling trends
  • Ability to work flexibly in a fast-paced retail environment including nights, weekends, peak seasons, and public holidays
  • Strong English language proficiency
