Kate Spade New York seeks a Store Leader at Carlsbad Premium Outlets to drive sales, develop teams, and ensure operational excellence.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Model Kate Spade New York service behaviors and selling standards, providing real-time coaching to ensure premium client experiences
  • Drive clienteling and omni-channel strategies through consistent CRM usage, proactive outreach, and achievement of key performance indicators including conversion, average order value, units per transaction, virtual appointments, and ship-from-store
  • Recruit, onboard, train, and develop a high-performing team reflecting Kate Spade New York's brand values and inclusive culture
  • Establish clear performance goals and provide ongoing coaching, performance management, and annual evaluations
  • Analyze selling reports and business trends to identify opportunities and implement targeted action plans
  • Oversee opening and closing routines, cash handling, bank deposits, inventory processing, markdowns, transfers, and facility security
  • Manage scheduling and payroll within budget to maintain optimal sales floor coverage
  • Ensure consistent execution of visual merchandising directives and maintenance of store standards
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners including visual, operations, human resources, merchandising, and marketing teams
  • Ensure compliance with loss prevention, safety, and company policies; lead regular store meetings for alignment

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of store leadership experience in retail or service environments; luxury or premium retail experience preferred
  • Proven expertise in sales leadership, team coaching and development, and stakeholder management
  • Strong communication, conflict mediation, and time management capabilities
  • Data-driven decision-making ability and demonstrated ability to exceed sales goals consistently
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Familiarity with CRM and clienteling tools, social media literacy, and understanding of virtual and live selling trends
  • Ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and peak retail periods
  • Capacity to regularly lift 25 lbs., with occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.; ability to climb, bend, kneel, and maneuver sales floor and stockroom

Experience

Compensation

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 38.25 to USD 51.75 per hour.
