Role & Responsibilities
- Model and coach kate spade new york service behaviors and selling standards to ensure a premium client experience.
- Lead clienteling and omni-channel sales strategies, ensuring consistent CRM/client book usage, proactive outreach, and achievement of KPIs (conversion, AOV, UPT, virtual appointments, ship-from-store, BOPIS).
- Drive social selling initiatives and virtual/live selling events where applicable; empower the team to resolve customer issues promptly.
- Recruit, onboard, train and develop a high-performing retail team that reflects brand values and an inclusive culture.
- Set clear goals, provide ongoing coaching and formal performance management including evaluations and development plans.
- Own store financial performance: forecast, plan and deliver against sales and productivity targets.
- Analyze selling reports and business trends to identify opportunities and implement corrective action plans.
- Collaborate with visual, operations, HR, merchandising and marketing partners to execute local merchandising and marketing strategies.
- Ensure visual directives and store maintenance standards are executed, producing compelling brand-right storytelling through displays and windows.
- Oversee operational procedures including opening/closing routines, cash handling, bank deposits, scheduling, payroll and facility security.
- Protect inventory integrity through accurate processing of markdowns, transfers, damages, shipping and receiving; ensure loss prevention compliance.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3+ years of store leadership experience in retail or service; luxury or premium retail experience preferred.
- Proven sales leadership with demonstrated ability to coach, develop talent and manage performance.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, conflict mediation and time-management skills.
- Data-driven decision-making with experience analyzing sales reports and delivering action plans.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and familiarity with CRM/clienteling tools.
- Social media literacy and understanding of live/virtual selling trends.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, peak seasons and public holidays.
- Ability to lift at least 25 lbs regularly (up to 50 lbs occasionally) and perform physical tasks on the sales floor and in the stockroom.

Experience
Minimum of 3+ years in store leadership or supervisory retail roles; experience in luxury or premium retail preferred. Demonstrated record of meeting sales targets, coaching teams, and executing omni-channel initiatives.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; a combination of education and relevant experience will be considered.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 38.25 to USD 51.75 per hour.
