Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead the store to maximise productivity and profitability by setting performance targets, forecasting sales and delivering against KPI goals.
  • Model Kate Spade service behaviours and premium selling standards; coach the team in real time to ensure an elevated client experience.
  • Drive clienteling and omni‑channel strategies — ensure consistent CRM and client‑book usage, proactive outreach, virtual appointments, ship‑from‑store and BOPIS execution.
  • Recruit, onboard, develop and motivate a diverse, high‑performing team; conduct regular performance reviews and implement development plans.
  • Maintain brand equity and visual standards by executing visual merchandising directives and creating compelling in‑store storytelling.
  • Manage all operational and compliance activities including opening/closing, cash handling, bank deposits, inventory integrity, scheduling and payroll within budget.
  • Collect and communicate customer feedback and product insights to cross‑functional partners to inform merchandising and marketing decisions.
  • Leverage data and selling reports to identify business opportunities and implement targeted action plans.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3+ years of store leadership experience in retail or service; luxury or premium retail experience preferred.
  • Proven track record of sales leadership, coaching, performance management and stakeholder engagement.
  • Strong commercial and analytical capability with experience using sales reports to drive actionable plans.
  • Excellent communication, conflict mediation and time management skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and familiarity with CRM/clienteling tools.
  • Social media literacy and understanding of live/virtual selling and social selling trends.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, peak seasons and public holidays.
  • Strong English language proficiency.
