Role & Responsibilities
- Lead store operations to maximize productivity and profitability while modeling kate spade new york’s service behaviors and selling standards.
- Drive clienteling and omni-channel performance through consistent CRM/client book usage, proactive outreach, thank-you follow-ups, and achievement of KPIs (conversion, AOV, UPT, virtual appointments, ship‑from‑store, BOPIS).
- Coach, develop and motivate a high-performing team; recruit, onboard and deliver ongoing performance management and development plans.
- Resolve customer issues promptly and leverage social selling and live/virtual selling initiatives to expand reach and sales.
- Own financial performance: forecast, plan and deliver against sales and productivity goals using selling reports and trend analysis to implement targeted action plans.
- Collaborate with visual, operations, HR, merchandising and marketing partners to execute store strategies and brand campaigns.
- Ensure visual merchandising and brand storytelling are executed consistently; maintain store presentation and window displays.
- Manage all operational procedures including opening/closing, cash handling, bank deposits, scheduling and payroll within budget, and facility security.
- Protect inventory integrity by overseeing markdowns, transfers, damages, shipping and receiving; ensure compliance with loss prevention, safety and company policies.
- Utilize Microsoft Office and CRM systems for reporting, communications and operational tasks.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of store leadership experience in retail or service; luxury or premium retail experience preferred.
- Proven track record in sales leadership, coaching, performance management and stakeholder collaboration.
- Strong communication skills, conflict mediation capability and time-management discipline.
- Data-driven decision-making aptitude with ability to analyze reports and convert insights into action.
- Ability to work a flexible retail schedule including nights, weekends, peak seasons and public holidays.
- Ability to lift regularly up to 25 lbs and occasionally up to 50 lbs; ability to climb, bend and maneuver across sales floor and stockroom.
Skills
Experience
Minimum three years of progressive store leadership in retail or service environments; demonstrated success in driving sales, developing teams and managing store P&L. Luxury or premium retail background is preferred.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; combination of education and relevant retail leadership experience will be considered.

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 38.25 to USD 51.75 per hour.
