Kate Spade New York seeks a Senior Store Leader in Orlando, Florida. Lead retail operations, manage sales teams, and drive brand excellence. $62K–$94K.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Oversee clientele development by building and maintaining relationships with clients, generating strong sales results from proactive outreach, and cultivating personal business trade
  • Drive business-building initiatives that establish repeat clientele or attract new customers
  • Conduct monthly client book reviews and evaluate associate outreach to maximize sales generation
  • Ensure team compliance with clientele standards and thank you note policy
  • Supervise completion of the sales training program by all associates
  • Model and supervise the selling environment, providing consistent coaching and sales training to ensure highest-level customer service and sales
  • Hire, train, and motivate a qualified sales team that effectively represents the Kate Spade New York brand
  • Provide specific development for assistant managers and supervisors with assigned accountabilities, consistent follow-up, and feedback
  • Perform annual performance evaluations and quarterly reviews of employee goals
  • Achieve financial success through improvement of measurable statistics that positively impact store performance
  • Network and create positive community relationships that generate business awareness, brand recognition, and identify qualified candidates for key positions
  • Attend approximately two annual company management meetings
  • Communicate the Kate Spade New York brand aesthetic, philosophy, and lifestyle to the sales team and customers
  • Ensure visual merchandising directives are implemented efficiently and standards are maintained
  • Analyze business trends regarding assortment, sell-through, and stock levels, communicating opportunities to increase sales to District Leader
  • Communicate customer feedback and quality issues to District Leader to improve customer service and sales
  • Perform and supervise store opening and closing procedures, including register funds counting, bank deposits, and facility security
  • Conduct regular store meetings to ensure accurate and consistent employee communication
  • Maintain payroll budget and weekly hours to ensure appropriate sales floor coverage
  • Supervise operational responsibilities to ensure timely and accurate processing of markdowns, transfers, damages, shipping, and receiving
  • Oversee loss prevention policies and procedures for 100% compliance

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of management experience in luxury goods or a comparable retail environment
  • College degree preferred
  • Prior luxury goods experience preferred
  • Professional sales development and exceptional interpersonal skills
  • Strong leadership qualities and ability to communicate effectively with all organizational levels and client base
  • Ability to analyze selling reports, identify business trends, and react quickly to business needs
  • Comfortable making decisions and mediating conflict within a team environment
  • Proficiency in Windows-based software including Excel, Word, and Outlook
