Kate Spade New York seeks Senior Store Leader at Disney Springs, Lake Buena Vista, Florida. Lead retail operations, sales teams, and drive performance. Full-time, $62K–$94K annually.
Role & Responsibilities
- Oversee clientele development and build lasting relationships with clients through proactive outreach and personal business development initiatives
- Lead by example to develop business-driving initiatives that build repeat customer bases and attract new clientele
- Conduct monthly client book reviews to ensure associates actively utilize their client portfolios and generate increased sales
- Ensure team compliance with all clientele standards and thank-you note policies
- Supervise sales training completion and provide consistent coaching on the sales training process to deliver highest-level customer service
- Hire, train, motivate, and develop a qualified sales team that effectively represents the Kate Spade New York brand
- Provide specific development for assistant managers and supervisors through assigned accountabilities, training, and consistent follow-up
- Conduct annual performance evaluations with quarterly review of employee goals
- Achieve financial success through improved measurable statistics that positively impact store performance
- Understand and communicate the Kate Spade New York brand aesthetic, philosophy, and lifestyle to the sales team and customers
- Ensure visual merchandising directives are implemented efficiently and visual standards are maintained consistently
- Analyze business trends regarding assortment and communicate sell-through, stock levels, and sales opportunities to district leadership
- Communicate customer feedback and quality issues to district leadership to improve customer service and sales
- Perform and supervise store opening and closing procedures, including register fund counting, bank deposits, and facility security
- Conduct regular store meetings to ensure accurate and consistent employee communication
- Maintain payroll budget and weekly hours to ensure appropriate sales floor coverage
- Supervise operational responsibilities for markdowns, transfers, damages, shipping, and receiving to maintain inventory integrity
- Oversee loss prevention policies and procedures to ensure 100% compliance
- Network within the community to generate business awareness, build brand recognition, and develop candidate pipelines for key positions
- Attend approximately two annual company management meetings
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of management experience in luxury goods or comparable retail environment
- Prior luxury goods experience preferred
- College degree preferred
- Professional sales development and exceptional interpersonal skills
- Strong leadership qualities with ability to communicate effectively across all organizational levels and with client bases
- Ability to analyze selling reports, identify business trends, and react quickly to business needs
- Comfortable making decisions and mediating conflict in team environments
- Proficiency in Windows-based software including Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Ability to work store schedules including evenings and weekends as needed
- Able to stand for extended periods
- Capable of safely lifting boxes up to 40 pounds and climbing ladders
- Comfortable lifting at least 25 pounds regularly (up to 50 pounds occasionally) and maneuvering sales floor and stockroom areas

Experience
Minimum 3 years of management experience in luxury goods or comparable retail environment. Prior luxury goods experience is preferred. The ideal candidate demonstrates a proven track record of building high-performing sales teams, developing client relationships, and driving sales growth in a retail environment.
