Kate Spade is hiring a Sales Support Associate III in New York — senior retail role supporting client service, POS operations and inventory.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver exemplary client service and clienteling, cultivating long-term relationships and driving repeat business.
- Operate point-of-sale systems and process sales transactions, returns and exchanges with accuracy and discretion.
- Support stock management: receive and process deliveries, conduct inventory counts and manage replenishment.
- Assist visual merchandising and store presentation to uphold brand standards and campaign rollouts.
- Prepare and analyse daily/weekly sales reports, monitor KPIs and escalate performance insights to store leadership.
- Support onboarding and informal coaching for junior staff; uphold loss-prevention and cash-handling procedures.
- Liaise with cross-functional teams (merchandising, e‑commerce and customer service) to resolve client inquiries and operational issues.
Qualifications
- Demonstrable excellence in customer-facing service, with polished interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong numeracy and attention to detail for cash handling, POS operation and basic sales reporting.
- Ability to maintain brand presentation standards and follow visual merchandising direction.
- Availability to work retail hours including evenings, weekends and peak seasonal periods.
- Professional demeanour appropriate to a premium/luxury retail environment.
Skills
Experience
Typically 2–4 years of retail sales or sales-support experience, preferably within fashion or premium lifestyle brands; experience in a luxury retail environment is highly valued.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary training in retail, hospitality or business is preferred.
