Kate Spade New York seeks Senior Sales Associate in Orlando, FL. Lead luxury retail sales, mentor peers, drive omni-channel initiatives. $15–$19.50/hr, part-time.
Role & Responsibilities
- Consistently exceed personal sales and productivity goals while modeling best-in-class selling behaviors and techniques
- Deliver service aligned to Kate Spade Great Escape standards and coach peers on client engagement strategies
- Demonstrate extensive product knowledge across all merchandise categories and share insights to elevate team selling performance
- Partner with Store and Assistant Manager to initiate business-driving events and establish an elevated selling culture
- Act as a brand ambassador, articulating compelling product stories and brand narratives that connect emotionally with customers
- Champion omni-channel, virtual, and social selling services while leading adoption of emerging social selling programs
- Support creation of short-form video content and live-stream shopping experiences; stay informed on evolving social media trends
- Capture and relay client feedback and market insights to management to inform service strategies and assortment decisions
- Perform and supervise store opening and closing procedures, including register fund reconciliation, deposits, and facility security
- Contribute to an inclusive team culture that encourages collaboration, accountability, and continuous performance excellence
Qualifications
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in luxury retail or comparable elevated retail environment
- Proven ability to consistently drive sales results and mentor peer team members
- Extensive product knowledge with strong written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated experience with omni-channel and virtual selling platforms; willingness to appear on camera for social selling initiatives
- Social media fluency and demonstrated understanding of platform trends and digital engagement strategies
- Elevated sense of personal style paired with strong professional ethics and brand awareness
- Ability to lift regularly (up to 25 lbs) and occasionally up to 50 lbs; ability to climb, bend, kneel, and maneuver sales floor and stockroom environments

Experience
Minimum 2+ years of experience in luxury retail or a comparable elevated retail environment. A combination of relevant education and professional retail experience will be considered. Candidates should demonstrate a proven track record of exceeding sales targets, building and mentoring high-performing teams, and thriving in a fast-paced, customer-centric retail setting.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required. Further education or professional certifications in fashion, retail management, or customer service are advantageous but not required.
