Role & Responsibilities
- Consistently exceed individual sales and productivity targets through consultative, high-touch selling.
- Act as a visible brand ambassador, telling product and brand stories that translate Kate Spade DNA into client desire.
- Mentor and coach peers to elevate client engagement and selling behaviours, modelling best-in-class service standards.
- Champion omni-channel, virtual and social selling initiatives, including participation in short-form video and live-stream shopping.
- Support store leadership to plan and execute business-driving events and promotional activities.
- Capture and escalate client feedback to inform service, merchandising and assortment decisions.
- Perform and supervise store opening and closing procedures, including cash handling, deposits and facility security.
- Contribute to an inclusive, collaborative team culture that encourages performance excellence and customer focus.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years' experience in luxury retail or an elevated retail environment; a combination of education and experience will be considered.
- Proven track record of driving sales and mentoring or influencing peers toward an elevated selling culture.
- Extensive product knowledge across apparel, accessories and handbags with strong verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated experience with omni-channel and virtual selling; comfortable appearing on camera for social commerce.
- Social media fluency with an understanding of platform trends and content formats.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, peak season and public holidays.
- Ability to lift regularly up to 25 lbs (occasionally up to 50 lbs) and perform routine stockroom and floor duties.
Skills
Experience
At least 2 years of retail experience in a luxury or premium branded environment with demonstrable sales performance and peer mentorship.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary coursework in fashion, retail, merchandising or business preferred.
