Kate Spade seeks a Senior Sales Associate in Central Valley, NY (Woodbury Common) to drive sales, mentor peers and lead omni‑channel client experiences.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Consistently exceed personal sales and productivity goals while modelling best‑in‑class selling behaviours.
  • Coach and mentor peers to elevate client engagement and contribute to an elevated selling culture.
  • Demonstrate and share extensive product knowledge across categories to inform and uplift team selling.
  • Champion omni‑channel, virtual and social selling initiatives; lead adoption of social selling programs.
  • Support creation of short‑form video and live‑stream shopping content and stay informed on social media trends.
  • Partner with store leadership to plan and execute business‑driving events and sales promotions.
  • Capture and relay client feedback to management to inform service and assortment strategies.
  • Perform and supervise store opening and closing procedures, including register reconciliation, deposits and securing the facility.
  • Foster an inclusive, collaborative team culture and encourage performance excellence on the sales floor.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in luxury or elevated retail environments; combination of education and experience considered.
  • Proven ability to drive sales results and mentor peers to achieve collective goals.
  • Extensive product knowledge and excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with omni‑channel and virtual selling; willingness to appear on camera for social selling initiatives.
  • Fluency with social media platforms and an understanding of current content trends.
  • Elevated personal style, strong professional ethic, and ability to work in a fast‑paced retail environment.
  • Ability to lift regularly at least 25 lbs (occasionally up to 50 lbs) and perform physical sales‑floor tasks.
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, peak season and public holidays.
