Kate Spade (Tokyo) seeks a Senior Manager, Digital Commerce to lead e‑commerce strategy, analytics and cross‑functional execution for the brand in Japan.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end e-commerce commercial performance, including seasonal sales and promotion planning, forecasting and cross‑functional alignment.
  • Translate buying and planning input into channel-specific digital strategies and integrate buy plans into online sales plans with sell‑through monitoring.
  • Leverage GA4 and other analytics to track digital KPIs (traffic, conversion, engagement), diagnose issues and recommend optimization levers (PDP updates, promotions).
  • Partner with Finance to align investment decisions with online ROI and accelerate business through investment efficiency.
  • Coordinate with Digital COE and platform teams to scope and implement site enhancements, defining clear objectives and ROI assumptions.
  • Lead and develop the Sales & Promotion Planning team (manager, assistant manager, associate) and drive cross‑functional execution with Buying, Allocation, Marketing, Retail and Operations.
  • Manage relationships with external partners (vendors, warehouses, IT, customer service) and oversee execution across owned site and 3rd‑party marketplaces.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years' experience in e‑commerce, merchandising or commercial planning roles within retail or fashion.
  • Minimum 3 years' people management experience with demonstrated ability to develop direct reports and build effective teams.
  • Proven fluency in digital analytics (GA4) and commercial metrics including sell‑through, margin and buy‑plan integration.
  • Track record of leading cross‑functional initiatives and communicating complex, data‑driven narratives to non‑digital stakeholders.
  • Experience in apparel or fashion retail strongly preferred; 3rd‑party mall/marketplace experience considered a plus.
  • High to mid level English proficiency sufficient to present analyses and recommendations to stakeholders.
