Kate Spade in New York is hiring a Seasonal Summer Associate — a seasonal retail role delivering customer service, visual merchandising and sales support.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver attentive, personalised customer service and build lasting client relationships to drive sales and brand loyalty.
  • Execute daily sales transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system and handle cash and card payments following company procedures.
  • Support visual merchandising standards: maintain window and floor displays, ensure product presentation meets brand guidelines and execute seasonal resets.
  • Receive, unpack and process inventory; replenish sales floor stock and maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Assist with store events and promotional activity, including styling clients and providing product knowledge on collections and materials.
  • Adhere to loss-prevention and operational policies, maintain fitting-room standards and ensure the store environment is clean, organised and inviting.
  • Work flexible shifts including evenings, weekends and public holidays to cover peak summer trading periods.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; further education in retail, fashion or customer service is an advantage.
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule throughout the summer period, including weekends and holidays.
  • Professional presentation and an enthusiastic, client-focused attitude aligned with a premium retail environment.
  • Ability to stand for prolonged periods, perform light lifting and work on the sales floor during busy trading hours.
