Kate Spade seeks a Seasonal Stylist to advise customers on products and personal style, deliver complete looks and a seamless purchase experience, and drive sales through customer connections and storytelling. The role also supports stockroom organization and POS transactions and requires schedule flexibility, including nights, weekends, busy season and public holidays; the hourly base pay range is $15.00–$19.50.
Role & Responsibilities
- Welcome guests warmly and confidently, demonstrating strong product knowledge.
- Listen actively and ask insightful follow-up questions to understand customer needs.
- Provide styling advice, suggest add-on products, and create complete looks.
- Show customers multiple ways to wear products and encourage them to explore new styles.
- Guide customers through purchase decisions and provide a seamless checkout experience.
- Reinforce and celebrate customer choices, inviting customers to return.
- Drive results through strong customer connections and storytelling.
- Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of Kate Spade and product attributes across all categories.
- Maintain operational excellence, including stockroom organization and POS transactions.
- Give and receive feedback in an honest, constructive manner.
Qualifications
- Professional selling skills and exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Prior experience in a retail environment.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and collaborate in a team setting.
- Social media awareness and willingness to learn omni/virtual selling techniques.
- English proficiency or proficiency in the local language, depending on the market.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, busy season, high-traffic retail days, and public holidays.
- Ability to regularly lift at least 25 lbs. and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.; ability to climb, bend, kneel, and maneuver around the sales floor and stockroom.
