Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional, client-focused service: greet guests, actively listen to needs, and provide personalised styling advice to create complete looks.
  • Drive sales through consultative selling, product storytelling and suggestive selling of add-ons and complementary categories.
  • Demonstrate and maintain deep product knowledge across Kate Spade categories and articulate brand DNA to customers.
  • Operate POS accurately and manage checkout to ensure a seamless purchasing experience.
  • Maintain operational excellence on the sales floor and in the stockroom, including merchandising, stock replenishment and inventory organisation.
  • Leverage omni-channel and virtual selling techniques, including social media engagement, to extend customer relationships.
  • Provide and receive constructive feedback; collaborate with the team to meet store KPIs and visual merchandising standards.
  • Perform physical tasks required by retail: lift up to 25 lbs regularly (occasionally to 50 lbs), climb, bend and manoeuvre throughout the sales floor and stockroom.
  • Work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, peak season and public holidays as required by store traffic.

Qualifications

  • Professional selling skills with exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Prior experience in a retail environment, preferably in fashion or lifestyle brands.
  • Proven ability to multitask, prioritise and collaborate effectively within a team.
  • Comfortable using POS systems and learning omni/virtual selling platforms.
  • Awareness of social media and willingness to employ it for client outreach and brand storytelling.
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the role and maintain a flexible schedule.

Experience
