Kate Spade New York is hiring a Seasonal Stylist in Mebane, NC. Part-time retail role offering $15–$19.50/hr, benefits, and career growth.
Role & Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and confidently, demonstrating strong product knowledge across all Kate Spade categories
- Actively listen and ask insightful follow-up questions to understand customer needs and personal style preferences
- Provide styling advice, suggest complementary products, and create complete looks that incorporate Kate Spade pieces into customers' existing wardrobes
- Use creativity to showcase multiple ways to wear products and encourage customers to explore new styles
- Guide customers through purchase decisions and ensure a seamless checkout experience via POS systems
- Reinforce and celebrate customer choices while inviting repeat visits
- Maintain operational excellence, including stockroom organization and inventory management
- Support omni-channel selling initiatives and demonstrate willingness to learn virtual selling techniques
- Give and receive feedback in an honest, constructive manner
- Lift, carry, and maneuver merchandise weighing up to 25 lbs regularly and 50 lbs occasionally; climb, bend, kneel, and work on sales floor and in stockroom
Qualifications
- Professional selling skills with exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities
- Prior experience in a retail environment
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work collaboratively in a team setting
- Social media awareness and willingness to learn omni-channel and virtual selling techniques
- English language proficiency
- Physical capability to lift at least 25 lbs regularly (up to 50 lbs occasionally), climb, bend, kneel, and maneuver sales floor and stockroom
Skills
Experience
Prior experience in a retail environment, preferably in fashion or luxury goods retail.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; additional retail training or fashion education is advantageous.

The successful candidate will be located in Mebane, North Carolina, USA, with easy access to Greensboro.
Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 19.50 per hour.
